AB852,1,2 An Act to create 77.54 (45) of the statutes; relating to: a sales tax and use tax exemption for digital broadcasting equipment.

This bill creates a sales tax and use tax exemption for digital broadcasting equipment.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB852, s. 1 Section 1. 77.54 (45) of the statutes is created to read:

AB852,1,6 77.54 (45) The gross receipts from the sale of and the storage, use or other consumption of digital broadcasting equipment purchased and used by a radio or television station.

AB852, s. 2 Section 2. Effective date.

AB852,2,1 (1) This act takes effect on July 1, 2000.
