Current law requires school boards to observe certain dates (special observance
days), such as January 15 for the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This bill
adds March 17 to the list of special observance days, for "The Great Hunger" in
Ireland from 1845 to 1850.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB209, s. 2 5Section 2. Effective date.
