This bill requires that a taxation district clerk mail property tax bills to
taxpayers no later than December 31.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB225, s. 1 3Section 1. 74.09 (5) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB225,1,84 74.09 (5) Mailing. The No later than December 31, the taxation district clerk
5or the clerk's designee shall mail the property tax bill to each property taxpayer of
6the taxation district or the taxpayer's designee. If the property tax bill is mailed to
7the taxpayer's designee, the designee shall furnish the taxpayer with a copy of the
8bill.
