AB593,1,2 1An Act relating to: The Type 1 motorcycle, moped, and motor bicycle safety
2program and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the department of transportation administers a Type 1
motorcycle, moped, and motor bicycle safety program. This bill increases funding for
the program for each fiscal year of the 2001-03 fiscal biennium by $406,000.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB593,2,24 (1) Motorcycle, moped, and motor bicycle safety program. In the schedule
5under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of
6transportation under section 20.395 (4) (aq) of the statutes, as affected by the acts
7of 2001, the dollar amount is increased by $406,000 for fiscal year 2001-02 and the

1dollar amount is increased by $406,000 for fiscal year 2002-03 to increase funding
2for the Type 1 motorcycle, moped, and motor bicycle safety program.
