AJR30,1,33 Whereas, Cate Zeuske served in the Wisconsin assembly from 1983 to 1991; and
AJR30,1,54 Whereas, her remarkable tenure in the legislature reflected her zeal for
5innovation and fiscal responsibility; and
AJR30,1,86 Whereas, Ms. Zeuske's record as Wisconsin state treasurer from 1991 to 1995
7is beyond reproach for its proven effectiveness of leadership and demonstrated
8efficiency; and
AJR30,1,119 Whereas, during her service as Wisconsin secretary of revenue, the state has
10seen tremendous benefits from her professionalism and customer-first approach to
11administration since 1996; and
AJR30,1,1312 Whereas, her presidency of Forward Wisconsin, Inc., enjoyed marked success
13in stimulating the state's economy; and
AJR30,1,1514 Whereas, Cate Zeuske has been an outstanding friend to agriculture in her
15chairmanship of the Farmland Advisory Council; and

1Whereas, Ms. Zeuske has worked diligently to streamline government,
2increase communication, and inspire others through her work on the Kettl
3Commission and the Governor's Blue Ribbon Task Force on Jobs for the 21st
4Century; and
AJR30,2,65 Whereas, the totality of her administration has focused on developing new
6ideas and implementing sound fiscal policy; and
AJR30,2,87 Whereas, Cate has helped increase the participation of women in the political
8process through her involvement in Women in Government; and
AJR30,2,109 Whereas, she is a dedicated wife and loving mother of two children; now,
10therefore, be it
AJR30,2,13 11Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
12Wisconsin legislature commend Cate Zeuske in recognition of her indispensable
13service to the state and wish her the best in all future endeavors; and, be it further
AJR30,2,15 14Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
15resolution to Cate Zeuske.
