2providing certain orientation information for University of Wisconsin System
3students electronically.

Current law requires the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin
System (system) to ensure that each system institution incorporates into its
orientation program for new students oral and written information on sexual assault
and sexual harassment and to supply annually all students enrolled in the system
with printed material that includes this information. This bill allows the system to
supply the required written or printed information in electronic format.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB497,2,25 36.11 (22) (a) 1. (intro.) Incorporate in its orientation program for newly
6entering students oral and written or electronic information on sexual assault and

1sexual harassment, as defined in s. 111.32 (13), including information on sexual
2assault by acquaintances of the victims and on all of the following:
AB497,2,43 2. Annually supply to all students enrolled in the institution or college campus
4printed or electronic material that includes all of the information under par. (a).
