This bill requires all persons admitted to the University of Wisconsin Medical
School to take the Medical College Admission Test, which assesses mastery of basic
concepts in biology, chemistry, and physics; facility with scientific problem solving
and critical thinking; and writing.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB66, s. 1 4Section 1. 36.25 (46) of the statutes is created to read:
AB66,1,75 36.25 (46) Medical College Admission Test. The board shall ensure that all
6persons admitted to the University of Wisconsin Medical School take the Medical
7College Admission Test.
AB66, s. 2 8Section 2. Effective date.

1(1) This bill first applies to persons admitted for the 2004-05 academic year.
