AR31,1,1 Relating to: commending the life and contributions of Javier M. Sanchez.

AR31,1,4 Whereas, Javier M. "el Charro" Sanchez was born on August 1, 1921, emigrated to the United States in 1968 from Mexico, and died in Milwaukee on January 16, 2004, at the age of 82; and

AR31,1,8 Whereas, Mr. Sanchez was a beloved husband to Natividad for 48 years and the loving father of Javier (Diane), Ronald (Marta) Zeidler, Luciano, Luis (Anna), Rosario, Angelica (Javier) Talavera, Angel, Jose (Christina Barge), and Jesus Sanchez; and

AR31,1,11 Whereas, Mr. Sanchez was a devoted grandfather to Ricardo, Frank, Jessica, Marina, Marysol, Joshua A., Venessa, Cecilia, Jesus, Leticia, Amanda, Joshua Javier, Nicholas, Andrew, Dillon, and Alex and great-grandfather to Gabriela; and

AR31,1,14 Whereas, Mr. Sanchez was proud of his citizenship and, along with his wife, instilled a strong work ethic and civic pride in their children so that they would make positive contributions to their country and community; and

AR31,2,2 Whereas, Mr. Sanchez will be missed by all of his family and friends both here and in Mexico; now, therefore, be it

AR31,2,6 Resolved by the assembly, That the members of the Wisconsin assembly commend the life and contributions of Javier M. Sanchez to his family and community, express their sorrow at his death, and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further

AR31,2,8 Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this resolution to Javier's wife, Natividad Sanchez, and to his children.
