AB103,1,2 1An Act to create 134.72 (2) (c) of the statutes; relating to: disclosure of facsimile
2transmission numbers.

Current law prohibits a person from making a facsimile solicitation to a person
who has given notice in writing or by facsimile that he or she does not want to receive
facsimile transmissions. This bill prohibits a facsimile solicitor who has received
such notice from disclosing to another the facsimile transmission number of the
person who gave the notice.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB103, s. 1 3Section 1. 134.72 (2) (c) of the statutes is created to read:
AB103,1,64 134.72 (2) (c) A facsimile solicitor who receives notice under par. (b) may not
5disclose to another the facsimile transmission number of the person who gave the
6notice under par. (b).
AB103, s. 2 7Section 2. Effective date.

1(1) This act takes effect on the first day of the 6th month beginning after
2publication.
