1An Act to amend 230.03 (12) (d) of the statutes;
relating to: appointment to
2limited term and project positions in the state civil service.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law provides that under the state civil service system a limited term
or project position may not be filled by a person who is not a resident of this state.
Limited term appointments are provisional appointments for less than 1,044 hours
per year; project position appointments may not be for more than four years. This
bill provides that a minor child of a person who is a resident of this state is a resident
of this state for purpose of appointment to a limited term or project position.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
