AB323,1,2 1An Act to create 23.09 (25) of the statutes; relating to: voting by persons with
2disabilities on issues before the conservation congress.

Under current law, the Conservation Congress is a statewide independent
organization of citizens that serves the Natural Resources Board in an advisory
capacity on all matters under the jurisdiction of the board, such as those concerning
conservation and the environment.
This bill requires the Department of Natural Resources, in conjunction with the
Conservation Congress, to provide a method by which persons with disabilities may
vote from home on issues being considered by the Conservation Congress.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB323, s. 1 3Section 1. 23.09 (25) of the statutes is created to read:
AB323,2,24 23.09 (25) Conservation congress voting. The department, in conjunction
5with the conservation congress, shall provide a method by which persons with

1disabilities may vote from home on issues being considered by the conservation
2congress.
