AJR37,1,1 Relating to: appreciating the contributions of free health clinics in Wisconsin.

AJR37,1,3 Whereas, free health clinics and federally qualified health centers in Wisconsin have demonstrated importance in their communities; and

AJR37,1,7 Whereas, free health clinics and federally qualified health centers are dedicated to the provision of high quality primary health care and health information free or at low cost to the medically underserved residents of their communities; and

AJR37,1,9 Whereas, free health clinics and federally qualified health centers provide millions of dollars' worth of services with much smaller operating budgets; and

AJR37,1,13 Whereas, free health clinics and federally qualified health centers provide vital health care services to individuals with no health insurance, medicare, medicaid, or medical assistance or with income levels at or below 185 percent of federal poverty guidelines; and

AJR37,1,15 Whereas, prescriptions and affordable health care are in demand in communities across Wisconsin; and

AJR37,3,12 Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature express appreciation for the remarkable contributions of the employees and volunteers of free clinics and federally qualified health centers across Wisconsin.
