AB865,1,3 1An Act to repeal 119.23 (2) (b); and to amend 119.23 (2) (a) (intro.) of the
2statutes; relating to: the limit on the number of pupils who may attend a
3private school under the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program.

Under current law, the number of pupils who may attend a private school under
the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program is limited to 22,500. This bill eliminates
the cap.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB865, s. 1 4Section 1. 119.23 (2) (a) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB865,1,75 119.23 (2) (a) (intro.) Subject to par. (b), any Any pupil in grades kindergarten
6to 12 who resides within the city may attend, at no charge, any private school located
7in the city if all of the following apply:
