AB256,1,3 1An Act to create 20.445 (1) (ft) and 106.32 of the statutes; relating to: a grant
2to Milwaukee County to assist men of color in obtaining employment and
3making an appropriation.

Under current law, the Department of Workforce Development (DWD)
administers various programs to assist individuals in obtaining employment. This
bill requires DWD to provide a grant in the amount of $1,000,000 in each fiscal
biennium to Milwaukee County for that county's task force on work reform for men
to assist men of color in obtaining employment.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as
an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB256, s. 1 4Section 1. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert
5the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table PDF
AB256, s. 2 1Section 2. 20.445 (1) (ft) of the statutes is created to read:
AB256,2,32 20.445 (1) (ft) Milwaukee county task force on work reform for men. Biennially,
3the amounts in the schedule for grants to the county of Milwaukee under s. 106.32.
AB256, s. 3 4Section 3. 106.32 of the statutes is created to read:
AB256,2,9 5106.32 Milwaukee county task force on work reform for men. From the
6appropriation account under s. 20.445 (1) (ft), the department shall provide a grant
7in the amount of $1,000,000 in each fiscal biennium to the county of Milwaukee for
8that county's task force on work reform for men to assist men of color in obtaining
9employment.
