SB193,1,2 1An Act to create 13.086 of the statutes; relating to: prohibiting a vote on bills
2during the first 21 days after introduction.

Under this bill, no house of the legislature may vote on passage of a bill until
21 days after the bill's introduction, unless two-thirds of the members elected to that
house vote to suspend the 21-day waiting period.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB193, s. 1 3Section 1. 13.086 of the statutes is created to read:
SB193,1,7 413.086 Waiting period to vote on bills. No house of the legislature may vote
5on passage of a bill until 21 days after the bill's introduction, unless two-thirds of the
6members elected to that house vote to suspend the waiting period described under
7this section.
