SB87,1,2 1An Act to amend 15.105 (5) of the statutes; relating to: the composition of the
2State Capitol and Executive Residence Board.

Currently, of the seven citizen members of the State Capitol and Executive
Residence Board, three members must be interior designers. This bill provides
instead that only two of the citizen members must be interior designers. The bill also
requires all of the members who are interior designers to be registered with the
Department of Regulation and Licensing.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB87, s. 1 3Section 1. 15.105 (5) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB87,2,54 15.105 (5) State capitol and executive residence board. There is created a
5state capitol and executive residence board, attached to the department of
6administration under s. 15.03, consisting of the secretary of administration or the
7secretary's designee, the director of the historical society or the director's designee,
8an architect or engineer employed by the department of administration appointed

1by the secretary of administration, 3 senators and 3 representatives to the assembly
2appointed as are the members of standing committees in their respective houses, and
37 citizen members appointed for staggered 6-year terms of whom at least 2 shall be
4architects registered under ch. 443, one shall be a landscape architect registered
5under ch. 443 and 3 2 shall be interior designers registered under s. 440.962.

SB87,2,87 (1) This act first applies with respect to appointments made to the state capitol
8and executive residence board on the effective date of this subsection.
