SB444,1,3 1An Act to amend 8.10 (3) (j) of the statutes; relating to: the number of
2nomination paper signatures required for city-wide offices in second class and
3third class cities.

Under current law, the number of nomination paper signatures required for a
candidate for a city-wide office in a second class or third class city is not less than
200 nor more than 400 electors. Under this bill, the number of nomination paper
signatures required for a candidate for a city-wide office in a second class or third
class city is not less than 100 nor more than 200 electors.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB444,1 4Section 1. 8.10 (3) (j) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB444,1,75 8.10 (3) (j) For city offices in 2nd and 3rd class cities, not less than 200 100 nor
6more than 400 200 electors for city-wide offices and not less than 20 nor more than
740 electors for alderpersons elected from aldermanic districts.
