Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill eliminates the Joint Survey Committee on Tax Exemptions. Under
current law, bills creating tax exemptions must be referred to the committee and the
committee must issue a report on the legality of the bill, the fiscal effect of the tax
exemption upon the state and its subdivisions, and its desirability as a matter of
public policy.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
