1Relating to: creation of a task force on gun safety technology.

2Resolved by the assembly, That the committee on assembly organization
3shall immediately appoint a task force on gun safety technology, consisting of an
4equal number of members of the majority and minority parties, to study and
5recommend ways to implement and promote gun safety technology, "smart gun"
6technology, and gun personalization technology in Wisconsin. Gun violence has
7become a public health epidemic in Wisconsin, and this task force shall be charged
8with the study of proper safety technologies while still recognizing certain
9protections under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. This
10task force shall deliver its findings to the assembly before January 1, 2017.
