Whereas, John Vodenlich began his baseball coaching career in 1994 and has
4been the head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team since
52004; and

Whereas, during that time, John earned two National Championships and two
7National Coach of the Year awards from the National Collegiate Athletic Association
8(NCAA); and

Whereas, John has received the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
10(WIAC) Coach of the Year six times previously and won the NCAA Regional Coach
11of the year five times; and

Whereas, in 2007 John was inducted into the UW-Whitewater Athletic Hall of
13Fame and in 2015 was inducted into the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association
14Hall of Fame; and

3Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the
4Wisconsin legislature commend Coach John Vodenlich on winning the 2015
5Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's Baseball Coach of the Year and wish
6him great success in all his future endeavors.
