Whereas, Gerald (Jerry) Louis Kramer was born January 23, 1936, in Jordan,
4Montana; and

Whereas, Jerry Kramer was the 39th player selected in the 1958 NFL Draft by
6the Green Bay Packers; and

Whereas, Jerry Kramer played in every single game of his rookie season in
81958. Jerry Kramer played right guard for the Green Bay Packers while winning five
9NFL titles and the first two Super Bowls; and

Whereas, Jerry Kramer also served as placekicker for the team in the 1962, the
111963, and part of the 1968 seasons. As a kicker, he made 29 field goals and 90 extra
12points, for a total of 177 Green Bay points; and

14All-Time Team to not be included in the Pro Football Hall of Fame; and

assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
4Wisconsin Legislature stand in full support of Jerry Kramer being inducted into the
5Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2018 and implore the voting committee to right the
6wrong of his absence. Jerry Kramer was an exceptional football player and is a
7deserving human being. The members of the Wisconsin Legislature congratulate
8Jerry Kramer on becoming a senior committee finalist and wish him good luck.
