SB134,1,2 1An Act relating to: repealing a rule of the Department of Transportation
2related to the purchase of school buses for school transportation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Currently, a Department of Transportation rule prohibits the purchase for use
in school transportation of a school bus previously titled and registered in another
state or jurisdiction if the bus is more than five years old. This bill eliminates this
prohibition.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB134,1 3Section 1. Trans 300.13 (intro.) of the administrative code is repealed.
SB134,2 4Section 2. Effective date.
SB134,1,65 (1) Notwithstanding section 227.265 of the statutes, this act takes effect on the
6day after publication.
