2021 WISCONSIN ACT
An Act to create 943.20 (2m) and 943.50 (4s) of the statutes; relating to: multiple acts of theft committed in concert and providing a penalty.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
AB827,1 Section 1. 943.20 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:
943.20 (2m) Acts in concert. When multiple violations of sub. (1) (a) are committed by 3 or more individuals at the same time and in the same place, in concert, the acts shall be considered as one crime and the value of the property shall be aggregated for the purposes of determining the penalty for the violation under sub. (3).
AB827,2 Section 2. 943.50 (4s) of the statutes is created to read:
943.50 (4s) When multiple violations of sub. (1m) (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), or (f) are committed by 3 or more individuals at the same time and in the same place, in concert, the acts shall be considered as one crime and the value of the property shall be aggregated for the purposes of determining the penalty for the violation under sub. (4).
