Case management services. 1. In lieu of placing the individual
17in a Wisconsin Works employment position under subs. (3) to (5), the department
18may provide case management services, which may include those services specified
19in s. 49.1475, to an individual who applies for a Wisconsin Works employment
20position if the department determines all of the following:

(1) Petition for review. Any individual whose application for any

works Works is not acted upon by the Wisconsin
works 14Works agency with reasonable promptness after the filing of the application, as
15defined by the department by rule, or is denied in whole or in part, whose benefit is
16modified or canceled, or who believes that the benefit was calculated incorrectly or
17that the employment position in which the individual was placed

18management services under s. 49.147 (2) (bm) in lieu of placement in a Wisconsin
19Works employment position is inappropriate, may petition the Wisconsin
works 20Works agency for a review of such action. Review is unavailable if the action by the

(2) Waiting list. (a) The department shall implement a prioritized
13waiting list system for applicants who are otherwise eligible for a child care subsidy
14under sub. (1m). Under the system, an applicant on the waiting list would not receive
15a child care subsidy unless the amount of funding allocated for child care subsidies
16under s. 49.175 (1) (p) was sufficient.

(b) Notwithstanding par. (a), an applicant for a child care subsidy who is
