AB387-AA3,1,2 1. Page 2, line 8: after that line insert:

AB387-AA3,1,3 “Section 2m. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB387-AA3,1,8 (1) Food stamp program staff. The authorized FTE positions for the department of health services are increased by 56.0 GPR positions on the effective date of this subsection, to be funded from the appropriation under s. 20.435 (4) (bm), for the purpose of performing quality control services for the food stamp program under s. 49.79.

AB387-AA3,1,9 (2) Food stamp administration.

AB387-AA3,2,2 (a) From the appropriation under s. 20.435 (4) (bm), the department of health services shall provide moneys to counties to hire quality control personnel necessary to achieve and maintain a low error rate under the food stamp program under s. 49.79.

AB387-AA3,2,5 (b) From the appropriation under s. 20.435 (4) (bm), the department of health services shall expend moneys necessary to prepare for increased utilization of the employment and training program under s. 49.79 (9).”.

AB387-AA3,2,11 “(2) Food stamp program. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department of health services under s. 20.435 (4) (bm), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2025-26 is increased by $69,200,000 for the purpose of providing for increased administrative costs for the food stamp program under s. 49.79 and for the purposes described under Section 2m (1) and (2) of this act.”.
