ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 4, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 454

AB454-AA4,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB454-AA4,1,2 1. Page 5, line 21: after that line insert:

AB454-AA4,1,4 “(em) “Rural area” means an area that is located in a city, village, or town with a population density of not more than 2,500 per square mile.”.

AB454-AA4,1,5 2. Page 7, line 8: delete “program.” and substitute “program; sunset. (a)”.

AB454-AA4,1,6 3. Page 7, line 10: after that line insert:

AB454-AA4,1,8 “(b) The authority may not award a loan under this section after June 30, 2031.

AB454-AA4,1,11 (c) The authority may not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment on the basis of, race, color, ancestry, national origin, or sexual orientation in awarding loans under this section.”.

AB454-AA4,2,3 “(cm) In each biennium, the authority shall set aside 25 percent of the total moneys deposited in the fund under sub. (2) (a) in that biennium for loans awarded under this section for the purchase of residences within a rural area.”.
