ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 866

AB866-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB866-AA1,1,3 1. Page 11, line 4: after “par. (e)” insert “or within the time period specified in an applicable collective bargaining agreement, whichever is later,”.

AB866-AA1,1,4 2. Page 14, line 1: delete “Effect of other” and substitute “Other”.

AB866-AA1,1,10 3. Page 14, line 7: after “(c)” insert “A deputy sheriff in any county may not be suspended or dismissed under sub. (3) or s. 59.52 (8) or 63.10 without pay or benefits for any action taken that is within the scope of the deputy’s employment, until the matter that is the subject of the suspension or dismissal is disposed of by a grievance committee or civil service commission or the time for appeal of that matter passes without an appeal being made.
