SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 479

October 15, 2025 - Offered by Senator Feyen.

SB479-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB479-SA1,1,4 1. Page 5, line 3: after “1d.” insert “Nothing in this subd. 1. a. prohibits a governing body from requiring as a condition of approval that public improvements be installed within a reasonable time after the plat is approved.”.

SB479-SA1,1,9 2. Page 5, line 6: delete lines 6 and 7 and substitute “building permits for home sites on the plat that are related to, and dependent upon, substantial completion meet the requirements of applicable building codes, zoning ordinances, and other municipal regulations shall be released and may not be withheld solely because of the status of public improvements.”.

SB479-SA1,1,10 3. Page 5, line 12: delete “recorded, and the” and substitute “recorded. The”.

SB479-SA1,2,2 4. Page 5, line 14: delete “requests the certificate” and substitute “submits the plat with the certificates and affidavits required under sub. (2) (c) and (d)”.
