NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Natural Resources Board Order AM-07-15
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to ss. 227.16 and 227.17, Wis. Stats, the Department of Natural Resources will hold a public hearing to consider proposed permanent rule Order AM-07-15, revising chs. NR 404 and 484, relating to incorporation of the national ambient air quality standards for fine particles (PM2.5) on the date and at the time and location listed below.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public hearing concerns the proposed revision of Wisconsin’s State Implementation Plan (SIP) developed under s. 285.11(6), Wis. Stats. Final rules affecting chs. NR 404 and 484, Wis. Adm. Code, promulgated under this rulemaking will be submitted to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for approval and incorporation into Wisconsin’s SIP.
This public hearing notice and request for comments satisfies requirements in ch. 227, Wis. Stats., for rulemaking and 40 CFR Part 51.102 for submittal of the final rules to the United State EPA as a revision to Wisconsin’s SIP.

Submitting Comments
Comments on the proposed rule and proposed revision to Wisconsin’s SIP must be received on or before August 31, 2016. Initial Regulatory Flexibility Analysis
After the preparation of a draft economic impact analysis for this proposed rule, the Department widely solicited information and advice from business, business sectors, associations representing businesses, local governmental units, and individuals that could be affected. No information or responses were received that identified affected small businesses or gave any indication that small businesses would be directly affected.
