NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON EMERGENCY RULE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority granted under ss. 175.60 and 227.11 (2) (a), Stats., the Department of Justice (DOJ) will hold a public hearing on an emergency rule, promulgated on April 15, 2016, amending s. Jus 17.03(8), Wis. Adm. Code, relating to the firearms training required for licenses authorizing persons to carry concealed weapons under s. 175.60, Stats..

DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION ECONOMIC IMPACT REPORT
  An economic impact report by the Department of Administration under s. 227.137(6), Stats., is not required because this is an emergency rule and because it is not reasonably expected to impose implementation or compliance costs of $20,000,000 or more on businesses, local governmental units, or individuals.
INITIAL REGULATORY FLEXIBILITY ANALYSIS
  The emergency rule does not impose any financial or compliance burdens that will have an effect on small businesses, as defined under s. 227.114(1), Stats., or a significant economic impact.
