NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CLEARINGHOUSE RULE 16-069
The State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Proposes an Order to Amend Permanent Rule Wisconsin Administrative Code ch. Trans 400 Relating to Wisconsin Environmental Policy Act.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to ss. 227.17 and 227.24(4), Wis. Stats., the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation (“WisDOT”) will hold a public hearing on permanent rule that will amend Wis. Admin. Code ch. Trans 400 relating to Wisconsin Environmental Policy Act, at the time and place shown below.

Appearances at the Hearing and Submittal of Written Comments: Interested persons are invited to appear at the public hearing and will be afforded the opportunity to make an oral presentation of their positions. Persons making oral presentations are requested to submit their written comments. WisDOT will accept written comments until Monday, December 19, 2016. Written comments may be sent to Daniel Scudder, WisDOT, Division of Transportation Systems Development, 4802 Sheboygan Avenue, Room 451, Madison, Wisconsin, 53707, or by email to: dan.scudder@dot.wi.gov.
Comments can also be made on permanent rule, CR 16-069, through the Legislature’s Administrative Rules website at http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/code/comment, until Monday, December 19, 2016.

Initial Regulatory Flexibility Analysis: Because this rule does not add any regulatory requirements for small businesses, the proposed rule updates will not have an economic impact on small businesses under s. 227.24 (3m), Stats.
Effect on small business: The Department anticipates no effect on small businesses as a result of this rule. The agency contact person listed below is also the small business regulatory coordinator for this proposed rule.
