PROPOSED RULE TO LEGISLATIVE
COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (Department) announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 227.15. SUBJECT: Soil and Water Resource Management Program

The Department will hold public hearings on this rule on January 9, 2017, in Eau Claire, January 19, 2017, in Platteville, January 23, 2017, in Appleton, and January 26, 2017, in Madison.
The scope statement for this rule, SS 011-16, was approved by the Governor on January 26, 2016, published in Register No. 722A2 on February 8, 2016, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by Wis. Stat. § 227.135(2), on March 22, 2016. The Department’s Division of Agricultural Resource Management is primarily responsible for this rule.
