Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On May 8, 2017, the Ethics Commission submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule creates Chapter ETH 26 to carry out the requirements of Chapters 11, 13, and 19, Stats., relating to settlement of campaign finance, lobbying, and ethics violations. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 103-16, was approved by the Governor on October 31, 2016, published in Register No. 731A1, on November 7, 2016, and approved by the Ethics Commission on December 6, 2016. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on June 7, 2017.
