Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On June 29, 2017, the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
The proposed rules affect Chapters FD 1 and 2, relating to academic instruction requirements for funeral directors, apprentices, and reporting and renewal requirements for apprentices.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 116-15, was approved by the Governor on September 2, 2015, published in Register No. 718A2, on October 14, 2015, and approved by the Funeral Directors Examining Board on August 4, 2015.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on August 1, 2017.
This proposed rule brings an existing rule into conformity with a statute that has been changed or enacted or with a controlling judicial decision.
