Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse

On September 25, 2017, the Department of Safety and Professional Services submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.

Analysis

The proposed rules affect Chapter SPS 330, relating to Fire Department Safety and Health Standards.

Statement of Scope

This rule is not subject to s. 227.135 (2), Stats., as affected by 2011 Wis. Act 21. The scope statement for this rule, published in Register No. 662B, on February 28, 2011, was sent to LRB prior to June 8, 2011. The scope statement was approved by the Department of Safety and Professional Services on March 22, 2011.

Agency Procedure for Promulgation

A public hearing is required. Public hearings have been scheduled for November 7, 8, and 16, 2017.
