NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY PUBLIC HEARING
Notice of Preliminary Hearing Date
The Commissioner is seeking public input regarding a proposed Bulletin describing the legal requirements of s. 632.895 (6), Stats., relating to diabetic equipment and supplies, specifically insulin pump equipment. Public comment is sought through the hearing and comment period. Comments will be accepted until 4:00 pm on May 10, 2018.
Analysis
The proposed Bulletin provides an overview of the requirements of s. 632.895 (6), Stats., and specifically the limitations that can be imposed regarding insulin pumps. The proposed Bulletin provides OCI’s expectation of compliance with the statute. Following the comment period, all comments will be considered prior to issuance of the Bulletin.
