Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On October 22, 2018, the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
The proposed rules affect Chapters FD 1 to 4, FD 6, relating to funeral director apprenticeship requirements.
A related emergency rule, EmR 1823, affecting the same Administrative Code provisions contained in this proposed rule and relating to the same purpose has been published and is in effect.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 085-18, was approved by the Governor on July 23, 2018, published in Register No. 751B, on July 30, 2018, and approved by the Chairman of the Funeral Directors Examining Board on August 21, 2018.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on November 27, 2018.
