On June 18, 2019, the Department of Safety and Professional Services submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.

The proposed rules affect Chapter SPS 220, relating to tanning facilities.

Statement of Scope

The scope statement for this rule, SS 002-16, was approved by the Governor on December 10, 2015, published in Register No. 721A2 on January 11, 2016, and approved by the Department of Safety and Professional Services on January 28, 2016.

Agency Procedure for Promulgation

A public hearing is required and will be held on July 19, 2019.
