Re:   Private School Choice Programs and Special Needs Scholarship Program Waivers

This memo serves as the notification to the Legislative Reference Bureau required under s. 118.38 (4) (b) 1., Stats., of waivers the Department of Public Instruction is providing under s. 118.38 (4) (a) 1., Stats.

Requirements being Waived for the Private School Choice Program

The application of ss. PI 35.10 (3) (a) 2. and 48.10 (3) (a) 2. is waived for any Paycheck Protection Program loans received under P.L. 116-136 Section 1102, Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, which are forgiven on or before June 30, 2020.

Requirements being Waived for the Special Needs Scholarship Program

The application of s. PI 49.09 (3) (a) 2. and (b) 2. is waived for any Paycheck Protection Program loans received under P.L. 116-136 Section 1102, Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, which are forgiven on or before June 30, 2020.
