Re: SS 045-20, DOC 306 and 376, relating to the secure custody and care of individuals in the DOC’s Custody

Dear Governor Evers:

The Statement of Scope to amend Wisconsin Administrative Code Chapters DOC 306 and 376, relating to the secure custody and care of individuals in the DOC’s custody, was approved on May 15, 2020. The Statement of Scope for this rule, SS #045-20, was published in Register #No. 773A3, on May 18, 2020.

The Department of Corrections will not be taking further action on SS #045-20 and hereby withdraws this Statement of Scope. If the Department later decides to engage in rulemaking related to the chapters and content at issue in SS #045-20, the Department will submit a new Statement of Scope for approval as required under s. 227.135, Stats.
