NOTICE OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSED RULES TO
THE JOINT LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL STAFF
NOTICE IS GIVEN, pursuant to s. 227.14 (4m), Stats., that on this date, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin submitted a proposed rule to the Legislative Council Staff (Rules Clearinghouse) for review. The proposed rule, Commission docket 1-AC-252, deals with allowing an electric provider, or customer or member of an electric provider, to create a renewable resource credit for heat that is a byproduct of a manufacturing process and is used to provide thermal energy for another purpose.
The Statement of Scope for this rule, SS 012-19, was approved by the Governor on December 20, 2018, published in Wisconsin Administrative Register No. 757A3 on January 14, 2019, and approved by the Commission on April 2, 2020.
A public hearing will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. The hearing does not have a physical location and will be held virtually.
