Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On December 9, 2020, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect chs. NR 8 and 10, relating to furbearer registration and tagging simplification. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 026-20, was approved by the Governor on April 20, 2020, published in Register No. 772B, on April 27, 2020, and approved by the Natural Resource Board on May 27, 2020. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on January 13, 2021.
