NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Department of Public Instruction will hold a public hearing as required under s. 227.16, Stats., on Emergency Rule 2046, amending PI 5 relating to age waivers for general educational development tests. The emergency rule clarifies the means in which the minimum age requirement may be waived for persons seeking a certificate of educational development by passing the general educational development test. The hearing will be held via conference call only in the manner as follows:

The purpose of this hearing to consider public testimony on the emergency rule under consideration. Written comments received by the date of the hearing will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.
