Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On August 25, 2021, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters NR 114, 146, 520 and 524 relating to allowing for third party administration of operator certification, well driller or pump installer license, and landfill operator examinations.
 
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 163-20, was approved by the Governor on December 18, 2020, published in Register No. 780B on December 28, 2020, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on February 24, 2021.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on October 12, 2021.
