Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On September 27, 2021, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters NR 500 to 520, relating to coal combustion residual landfills.
 
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 109-19, was approved by the Governor on October 31, 2019, published in Register No. 767A1 on November 4, 2019, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on February 26, 2020.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on October 28, 2021.
Agency Organizational Unit Primarily Responsible for Promulgating Rule
Waste and Materials Management Bureau.
