The rule is anticipated to have a moderate economic impact on small businesses.
Comments of Legislative Standing Committees:
No comments were received. However, the Assembly Committee on Substance Abuse and Prevention requested a meeting with the agency on 3/16/2021. Likewise, the Senate Committee on Health requested a meeting with the agency on 3/10/2021. Ultimately, the Department submitted three sets of germane modifications to the Standing Committees on April 9, 2021, April 23, 2021, and May 7, 2021. No actions were taken by the Standing Committees nor by the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules (JCRAR).
