NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSED RULE TO
TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule amends ATCP 160 relating to County and District Fairs.
Statement of Scope and Proposed Rule
The scope statement for this rule, SS 042-21, was approved by the Governor on April 22, 2021, published in Register No. 784B on April 26, 2021, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135(2), Stats., on May 13, 2021. The proposed hearing draft of the rule was approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.136(2), Stats., on November 18, 2021. The department will hold a public hearing on this rule on Monday, December 20, 2021, through a means that is fully compliant with Wisconsin law and COVID-19 protocols.
