Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On January 21, 2022, the Department of Financial Institutions submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule creates Chapter DFI-CCS 25 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, relating to notaries public and notarial acts. .
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, Chapter DFI-CCS 25, was approved by the Governor on June 11, 2020, and published in Administrative Register No. 774A3 on June 15, 2020, and approved by the Secretary of the Department of Financial Institutions on July 28, 2021.
