NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSED RULE TO
TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule amends ATCP 57 relating to inedible animal by-products.
Statement of Scope and Proposed Rule
The scope statement for this rule, SS 016-21, was approved by the Governor on February 19, 2021, published in Register No. 783A1 on March 1, 2021, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135 (2), Stats., on May 13, 2021. The proposed hearing draft of the rule was approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.136 (2), Stats., on January 26, 2023. The department will hold public hearings on this rule on Friday, March 10, 2023, in Madison, and Friday, March 24, 2023 in Wausau, through a means that is fully compliant with Wisconsin law.
