Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On November 21, 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to Wis. Stat § 227.15 (1). Analysis
The proposed rule affects Wis. Admin. Code ch. ATCP 82, relating to bulk milk collection, sampling, and transportation. No related emergency rules will be necessary.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 011-23, was approved by the Governor on January 26, 2023, published in Register No. 805B, on January 30, 2023, and approved by the Board of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection on March 2, 2023. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
The hearing draft rule was approved by the Board of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection on November 14, 2024. A public hearing is required and will be held December 9, 2024.
